This role will be responsible for the configuration and maintenance of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) module. This includes working with HR Leaders, HR Business Partners, IT, and other partners to define and implement new processes, demonstrate system capabilities, identify creative solutions, and resolve system issues. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of Workday HCM and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analysis:
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for Workday HCM processes and functionalities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications for Workday configurations and integrations.
- Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies for proposed changes or enhancements.
- Configuration and Maintenance:
- Configure and maintain the Workday HCM module to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to end-users.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the Workday system.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the Workday HCM landscape.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide thought leadership for Workday HCM solutions and best practices.
- Product Roadmap and Feature Delivery:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Workday HCM product roadmap.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Manage the product backlog and track progress against the roadmap.
- Project Management:
- Contribute to HCM projects by providing technical expertise and support.
- Lead project planning, implementation, and testing activities.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them informed of project progress and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Technology Analyst role, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience as a Workday Business Analyst, with a focus on the HCM module.
- Workday HCM certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM functionalities and configuration options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong commitment to maintaining data integrity, security, and compliance.
Additional Considerations:
- Experience with Workday integrations and APIs.
- Knowledge of HR analytics and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and trends in HR technology.
