Job Summary:
- Supermicro is seeking dedicated warehouse professionals to work in our warehouses and distribution centers in San Jose. The Sr. Warehouse Worker receives and ships Supermicro products and coordinates shipment transfers to internal departments and customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
TheSr. Warehouse Worker - Robotics Operation is a warehouse position with essential material handling job duties, as well as some dedicated time to attend to the warehouse automated label machine. Job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Perform daily label machine operation, including inserting and retreating memory trays
- Responsible for configuring, testing, maintenance and troubleshooting equipment
- Combine loose memory trays/cartons for space saving
- Closely monitor auto serial number warrant labeling to assure accuracy
- Analyze daily label machine outputs and make improvement recommendations as needed
- Load and unload company trucks
- Move merchandise utilizing pallet jacks, forklift, etc.
- Properly receive, stack and store material and/or products per warehouse guidelines
- Pull orders and pack and wrap boxes for shipment
- Assist in completing basic shipping and receiving paperwork
- Meet productivity standards, including completing work in a timely manner
- Follow instructions and respond to management directions
- Adhere to Company Warehouse policies and procedures
- Observe safety and security procedures
- Additional duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- 2-4 years' experience working in a manufacturing or distribution environment with automated equipment. Experience operating automated robotic arms a plus.
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs. and ability to utilize a "buddy system" for products weighing more than 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to do basic math calculations.
- Strong attention to detail, including accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to read and comprehend SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
- English read and write fluently.
Salary Range
$21.00/hr - $26.00/hr
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
