Role Summary:As a Brand and UX Copywriter, you’ll work closely with our design, product, and engineering teams, contributing to every stage of the content creation process—from strategy and concepting to production. You’ll play a key role in shaping our digital experiences, balancing our brand voice with effective UX principles to create a cohesive, compelling, and user-friendly ecosystem. With a deep understanding of our products, you’ll simplify complex ideas into clear, approachable language, maintaining a consistent tone across Rivian’s digital presence. Additionally, you'll support broader writing needs, including naming and marketing projects, making a lasting impact on how customers experience our brand.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end content
- Strategically integrate brand voice with UX to enhance digital experiences
- Shape user experience by crafting language that reflects Rivian’s unique brand identity
- Master product knowledge to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly content
- Maintain and expand Rivian’s copy system for a consistent brand voice across platforms
- Contribute to additional projects such as naming conventions and marketing content
- Actively participate in refining the user journey by providing UX insights
- Maintain a curious mindset, questioning processes to ensure clarity and alignment
- 5+ years of experience in brand and digital product writing
- Proven ability to create sharp, engaging, and on-brand copy
- Strong presentation skills and ability to explain strategic thinking effectively
- Familiarity with research methodologies to inform verbal strategy
- Appreciation for iterative testing and refining work
- Adaptable to quick learning, multitasking, and shifting priorities
- Collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail
Salary Range Irvine-Based Applicants: $87,000-$109,000 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, and other factors permitted by law).
