What you'll be doing:
- Work with the engineering team to ensure that design concepts are feasible and are being implemented in a consistent manner with what was tested in prototypes.
- Contribute new components to the Design System that enables rapid and scalable application design in the future for our mobile application.
- Contributing to regular updates to management (up to VP) about the status of projects and how the voice of the customer is being integrated continuously.
- Analyzing user testing data and determining what changes should be made to the product.
- Assuring UX is in line with customer expectations and exceeds industry standards.
- Finish the outputs in alignment with desired product launches.
What you bring:
- 4-5+ years' experience in design or previous work experience in a technical product / mobile application environment.
- Experience leading projects with limited oversight as an individual contributor.
- Quality and delivery of end-to-end digital solutions. This means the responsibility of solving problems with product owners, product teams, and other UX designers - using design thinking skills, research, and good design sense.
- Initiative in developing the vision of products.
- An active role in mentoring other designers, leading design meetings, and assisting other product teams when needed.
- Thorough, practical understanding of product design and design systems at scale.
- Excellent proficiency with modern, component-driven design and prototyping tools.
- Previous experience creating interactive design prototypes.
- Has worked with distributed teams.
- Be able to present a portfolio of B-to-C products and experiences that you've helped launch into the real world and demonstrate cross-platform design experience (web, mobile tablets, email).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including consultative, detail-oriented, analytical, verbal & written communication, strong relationship management, and ability to influence.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Drive as an independent, autonomous, creative thinker that can break out from conventional solutions.
- A high degree of intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, energy, and drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in development (HTML/CSS/JS, Swift, Android, Flutter).
- Experience with the user-centered design process from concept development to launch.
- Co-op experience or interned in a similar role.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
