Your Impact as a Sr. Ultrasound Sonographer:

As a Sr. Ultrasound Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients across multiple locations in the Bay Area. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing diagnostic sonograms to demonstrate anatomy and pathology for interpretation.
• Obtaining patient clinical information and preparing patients for imaging.
• Preparing equipment and ensuring proper room setup before and after exams.
• Demonstrating self-critique and recognizing sub-optimal techniques and equipment malfunctions.
• Meeting physical requirements for performing exams in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Maintaining ARDMS credentials according to the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography's criteria.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound training program from an approved school
  • ARDMS credentials in Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties (at minimum)
  • BLS certification
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in a similar ultrasound department
• Preferred:
  • Senior Sonographer skills
  • Pediatric experience
  • Hospital experience
  • Ultrasound experience in OB, thyroid, and transplant kidney/liver
  • Familiarity with EPIC EMR and Syngo Dynamics system

Flexibility and Adaptability:

This position requires flexibility to work at multiple locations in the Bay Area and variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
