Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
The Senior Technical Program Manager for Kuiper Phased Array Antenna will plan and execute high quality test campaigns with speed and high quality. The Sr. TPM will decompose product requirements to test requirements, detail plan all aspects of verification and manufacturing test efforts. This is a highly technical role requiring experience with integrated hardware and software development as well as some appreciation for complex applications. You will have significant influence over the design and the test approach we take to develop and test the system.

Key job responsibilities
systems. You will work with a team of experts and drive the team to successfully accomplish the following activities:
- Decompose technical requirements for test into software and hardware requirements aligned with development, manufacturing and verification test strategy.
- Identify and manage the conduct of trade studies and analyses necessary to define automated test station hardware and software requirements.
- Identify, design, verify, and delivery automated test equipment with high emphasis on radio frequency technology.
- Manage a large number of dependencies across many engineering disciplines to ensure that schedules are met.
- Develop program and team processes and tools, as required

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
- 7+ years of hardware, software, test engineering, ground support equipment and/or harness design, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in a technical lead, systems engineer, technical program or project management role with significant experience architecting and integrating HW and SW.
- 4+ years of leading cross-functional teams to deliver products on schedule.
- Proficiency with at least one schedule tracking tools such as MS Project, SmartSheet or alternative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering.
- Experience with high volume manufacturing test methods, concepts and solutions.
- Experience with testing radio frequency products.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Track record of successfully delivering complete systems (hardware, firmware, software) on time, to scope, with high quality.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines.
- Maturity, judgment, and proven ability to lead and influence others.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with engineers, business owners, and senior business leaders.
- High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
- Experience developing avionics for aerospace applications or systems operating in extreme environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
