Job Summary
Workstations Technical Support Team provides secure, reliable, and integrated technology and application solutions related to telecommunication and workstation services. Our goal is to provide leadership and planning for the effective and strategic us of emerging technologies and provides sound governance of our corporate information assets. Furthermore, we strive to demonstrate technical and operational excellence through a commitment to professionalism and continuous improvement.
Using business and technical experience; this position provides technical support of information technology throughout CITGO, primarily voice/telephony technologies and associated hardware and software. Limited rotational on-call technical support is required.
The Information Technology Sr. Technical Analyst is part of the Workstations Technical Support Team. This team coordinates and participates in activities and projects in the areas of workstation and telephony services delivery and support. Daily functionality and administration of computing hardware and software as it related to telephony services.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Preferred or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. One year of education = one-year experience.
5-7 years' experience supporting telephony related technologies in a corporate environment. Experience providing desktop telecom application support. Sound understanding of networking technologies, VoIP concepts and Teams/Zoom messaging. Avaya and iPhone related experience is a plus.
Job Duties
Primary duties are to respond to customer calls for assistance related to deployed telephony hardware and software. Returning customers to a productive status will be the number one priority of this job. Secondary duties will include evaluating, recommending, and implementing quality solutions to customer requests for hardware and software. Provide technical assistance in the support, deployment, and evaluation of current and new workstation technologies. Technologies include mobile phones (iPhone), desk phones (Avaya), radios, telephony support technologies, administration of platforms and related software systems. Maintaining FCC related licensing for CITGO, proactively communicate upcoming renewals in coordination with 3rd party vendor. Deploy/replace mobile phones as required. Perform proactive maintenance of telephony systems and maintain current patching levels.
