A South Bay manufacturer is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their team. The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for tax planning and research, tax return preparation from local to international level, liaise with outside tax consultants, produce consolidated corporate returns, income tax preparation, and provision calculations. What do you need for this Senior Tax Accountant role?
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 7-12+ years of tax accounting experience
• Public accounting experience a plus
• CPA license a plus
• Advanced Excel
• ASC 740 and income tax provision experience
What will you do in this Senior Tax Accountant role?
• Prepare income tax provisions and returns
• ASC 740 compliance
• Foreign tax provision calculations
• Financial statement disclosures to maintain GAAP compliance
• Document tax positions and valuation allowances
• Tax research for M&A, new pronouncements, and international tax while becoming an SME
• Automate and streamline tax solutions and reporting processes
• Prepare tax memos, audit responses, and stay knowledgeable on current laws
• Prepare income tax returns
• Oversee payments, amendments, and extensions
• Liaise with external tax auditors and authorities and respond to notices and other communications
• Assist with tax-related strategic planning
