Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Details
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
· Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, S & C-corporations, partnerships, trusts, and not for profit organizations.
· Advising clients with routine accounting functions throughout the year including planning analysis, projections, research, journal entries, fixed asset maintenance, income statements, balance sheets, etc.
· Maintaining relationships with clients and identifying business growth opportunities.
· Proactive tax research, including examining IRS and various state notices.
· Possible opportunities to represent before the IRS and CT Department of Revenue.
· Client Write up and general ledger maintenance using QuickBooks and other software.
· Participate and eventually run audit jobs of large client.
· Participate in marketing and Business Development of the firm
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MBA preferred.
· Minimum 3 years of previous work-related experience in tax and accounting.
· Must be a CPA or in progress
· Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and QuickBooks
· Passion and curiosity to look through the financial information of a business to identify potential opportunities for client gain.
