WHAT IT TAKES:

You probably already know what this type of role requires:
- A passion for Tax Accounting and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- A degree in Accounting, with graduate degree a plus.
- Active CPA status is not required but a plus.
- Experience as a Sr. Tax Accountant, specifically in working with and supporting small businesses and high wealth individuals.
- Experience reviewing returns done by other staff, coaching on complex tax scenarios.
- Strong understanding and experience in tax accounting for partnerships. At least moderate depth in taxation for partnerships is required.
- Familiarity with capital intensive businesses (real estate / construction) is a plus. A good understanding and experience with various forms of partnerships and tax implications.
- You'll be in a client facing role much of the time, so strong interpersonal and client relationship skills are key to success. Experience working with CFO’s, Controllers, and other financial executives.
- Adept at common software like UltraTax, Quickbooks, RIA, and Excel.
