About the Job
High Priorty Qualifications:
- Experience with third-party proxy administration and change auditing tools (i.e. NetIQ Directory &Resource Administrator (DRA); NetIQ Exchange Administrator; NetIQ Aegis IT Automation; NetIQ Advanced Authentication Framework; and NetIQ Change Guardian for Active Directory (including group policy)
- Have a thorough understanding of Active Directory and configuration of the suite of NetIQ systemadministration tools (Directory Resource Administrator/Exchange Administrator/Aegis) and change auditing tools (NetIQ Change Guardian for Active Directory) currently in use by system administration staff
- Experience with configuration of both the NetIQ REST-driver enabled web client and the 32-bit desktopclient
- Experience implementing NetIQ Aegis IT automation workflows and NetIQ Change Guardian forActive Directory to provide real-time alerting of system administration actions
- Experience integrating RSA SecurID with NetIQ Directory Resource Administrator using NetIQAdvanced Authentication Framework to provide two-factor authentication
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support cyber security initiatives for the messaging, mobility and Active Directory services
- Support to address new cyber security measures, specifically those dealing with strengthening the security aroundthe use of privileged account management using two-factor authentication and the security hardening of mobility, messaging and authentication infrastructures
- Support is needed to gain engineering personnel with background in the use of public key infrastructure,two-factor authentication, third-party proxy administration software, privileged access management and monitoring, and change auditing and alerting that current personnel lack experience in deploying
- As a member of the team this position requires the incumbent to provide on-call escalation support
- Development, maintenance and enforcement of operational and functional policies/procedures that govern the authentication and mobility infrastructures and enterprise load balancing of the server infrastructure
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of related systems engineering experiencewith management and administration of a large distributed Active Directoryenterprise
- 5+ years’ experience with security hardening and assessment of a large distributed Active Directoryenterprise
- Experience integrating multifactor authentication technologies using smartcards, security tokens,and/or biometrics
- Understanding of Microsoft Exchange 2010 & 2013, Active Directory
- Understanding of security best practices per NIST, FISMA and CIS guidelines
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Understanding of scripting
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the capability to handle multiple tasks
- Must be able to secure and maintain Federal Government security clearances as deemed appropriate
- Candidates are required to work a diverse schedule and participate as an escalation point in 24x7support at all data center locations
Preferred qualifications:
- Understanding of Windows-based server technologies and virtualization technologies using VMware
- Understanding of public key infrastructure, federated identity management and single sign-onauthentication services
- Experience supporting and securing mobile messaging systems
- Understanding of load balancing of servers and services and F5 Network’s BIGIP Local TrafficManager (LTM) technologies
- Understanding of Powershell and VB scripting
- Experience integrating authentication services within a public key infrastructure (PKI)
- Experience with VMWare Virtual Desktop Interface
- Experience in automating administrative tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell and VBscripting
- Experience supporting and securing mobile messaging systems
- Knowledge of enterprise load balancing solutions (i.e. F5 Big IP Local Traffic Managers, CitrixNetscalers, Barracuda load balancers)
