Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Sr. Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to support all aspects of Targets and Countermeasures (TC) Sub-scale Targets (TCS) flight hardware and ground support equipment (GSE) production to meet MDA technical, schedule, and programmatic requirements. Efforts will include full lifecycle development of Target solutions from proposal evaluation, requirement/process/schedule development, hardware qualification & production, missionization, test execution, and performance evaluation.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Perform detailed analysis and tracking of multiple program’s progress through the full span of development and test.
+ Communicating clearly to leadership and team on hardware and GSE production status, issues, and recommendations.
+ Work with Chief Engineers, Program Managers and Product Engineers and Managers to support major Engineering, Technical and Test Reviews.
+ Proactively identify risk factors and issues that could affect program execution from a cost, performance, schedule, or political perspective and assist in the development of mitigation and resolution plans.
+ Reviewing contractor deliveries of proposals, hardware and software change requests, non-conformances, and critical review objective evidence.
+ Supporting Logistics and Test staff in mission operations planning and execution.
+ Generate/coordinate briefing packages intended for Customer leadership.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
+ Masters in STEM field (e.g., physics, engineering, math, etc.) with 12+ working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD programs.
+ Familiarity with MDA and/or DoD programs and processes.
+ Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop clear and concise briefings to explain complex situations to all levels of leadership.
+ Solid written and verbal communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at different maturity levels in parallel.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
+ Experience with US Department of Defense weapon systems design, systems engineering, development, testing, system integration, fielding, and operations.
+ Experience as a Department of Defense government contractor.
+ Experience in proper marking of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Classified information.
+ Knowledge of Basic Statistics.
+ Public speaking/presentation skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Secret

$117,000.00 - $210,600.00
