This team will focus on product development and product strategy for OHAI, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution to make it a world class engineering center with the focus on excellence.
As a System Engineer you will be responsible for alert and event response operations, service account management, certificate management, change control and implementation operations, vulnerability management, service requests, OS patching, and packaged software installation. You will support critical OHAI priorities such as patient safety, cyber security, as well as contributing to availability, reliability, and system performance. We are looking for someone who flourishes with working in large-scale, distributed systems and is always looking to identify and implement standard processes.

Responsibilities
Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy applications and ensure maximum efficiency in the use of those applications. Respond to requests for support by users. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Applications. Log bugs against applications and follow up with IT and Development. Monitor future applications releases. Train users on features of applications. Maintain applications responsibilities based on work group of user. Act as reporting resource. Represent users at Data Center meetings, user meetings at quarter end and whenever necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
+ 2-8 years of system engineering or system administration work experience.
+ Eligible to receive an appropriate U.S. Government security clearance applicable for your position, which requires being a US Citizen.
+ Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local laws
+ Ability to participate in on-call rotation
+ Experience handling production systems running Linux or UNIX.
+ Container administration and development applying Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos, or similar
+ Working with or supporting production, test, and development environments for medium to large user environments
+ Experience working with fault tolerant, highly available, high throughput, distributed, scalable systems
+ Experience operating services in one of the major Clouds such as AWS, OCI, Azure, etc.
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering preferred.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $33.94 to $67.88 per hour; from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
