Senior Systems Engineer – Data Management and Analysis

Position Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on data management, processing, visualization, and analysis, you will be an integral part of the larger R&D team. You will report directly to a Software Engineering Manager and be responsible for analyzing current database infrastructure, developing frameworks for data management, and automating data visualization and analysis processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing tools to assist in the automation of collecting and processing data to be used in the validation and characterization of products.
Location: this position can be based in Austin, TX, or Nashua, NH.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze current database infrastructure used to store test data.
• Work with other engineers across functions to define and develop a framework and tools for data management and analysis, facilitating data sharing and processing.
• Automate the generation of data-intensive dashboards for data visualization and analysis.
• Collaborate with the Operations organization to develop linkages and applications that enable Systems, Test, and Design engineers to visualize and analyze production test and yield data.
• Develop scripts to automate test report generation.
• Maintain and develop tools used in the automation of device testing.
• Maintain and develop internal and customer facing desktop applications in .NET.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field with 8 years of experience, or a Master’s with 6 years of experience.
• Proficient in C# .NET and/or Python. C/C++ experience is a plus.
• Proficient with SQL databases (MS SQL Server).
• Preferred experience in developing extensions for Spotfire and JMP. Experience with Exensio Analytics Platform is a plus.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis.
• Strong data visualization skills.
• Excellent mentoring skills and a positive disposition.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $89,100 - $172,100 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
