We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Administrator in the Orlando area.
The Sr. Systems Administrator is the primary contact responsible for complex installation/configuration, operation, maintenance, monitoring, and protection of the infrastructure supporting our restaurant systems. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and known best practices. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the Restaurant teams, ensuring technical processes are deployed in a sustainable and efficient manner. The individual should have a proven track record of being actively sought out by other team members for their technical advice.

We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Administrator in the Orlando area.
The Sr. Systems Administrator is the primary contact responsible for complex installation/configuration, operation, maintenance, monitoring, and protection of the infrastructure supporting our restaurant systems. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain an enterprise-wide solutions for multiple operating systems including Red Hat Linux and Windows
- Build, maintain, and deploy standardized, current images of various Operating Systems on multiple HW platforms
- Use vendor specific management tools to support remote HW platforms
- Proactively monitors a production infrastructure environment to ensure continued availability of the systems and services
- Provide 3 rd level support for the Service Desk and Restaurant Support teams via the resolution of escalated application, operating system, deployment, and hardware issues
- Document installation and configuration procedures
- Participate in multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Support and monitor highly available solutions
- Completes maintenance and support actions for Linux and Microsoft technologies
- Develop processes to increase efficiency and automate regular maintenance of support actions
- Identifies and resolves problems with the restaurant environment
- Assists Infrastructure team with testing and implementation of new software releases
- Provides on-call support
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience with at least 3 years in an IT role focusing on relevant enterprise technologies
- 3 years' experience with the following:
- Core Infrastructure services and functions (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, etc.)
- OS imaging, maintenance, and deployment
- Various SW deployment methodologies
- 1 year experience focused on Enterprise Monitoring technologies
- 1 year experience with virtualization configuration, support, deployment
- Strong knowledge of the enterprise operating systems administration for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft technologies
- Strong knowledge of the enterprise configuration management tools like Red Hat Insights, Ansible, Satellite, Prometheus, Grafana, Podman, Quay, Active Directory Group Policy
- Knowledge of Container deployment and DeVops Lifecycle Practices
- Experience managing and querying databases
- Proficient with system performance measuring and monitoring
- Proficient with web servers, web customization, and encryption
- Proficient with automation through scripting
- Strong understanding of networking infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) and protocols (TCP/IP)
- Experience in working with formal Patch Management and Change Control Systems
- Experience with BI tools and creating reports
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a relevant field
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to solve problems involving remote and elusive symptoms often spanning multiple environments in a business area
- Ability to be a team player; flexible, friendly, congenial and enthusiastic, willingness to do whatever it takes to complete assignments on time with quality
- Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitments to tasks
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, both technical and business related, and utilize as needed
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at a given time
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with strict attention to detail
- Creativity in proactively developing approaches to problems and recommending actions to management, or implementing recommendations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA, MTA, MCSA, MCSE or current equivalent certification
- ITIL v3 Foundations Certification
