Clearance: Current and active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph
Job Description:
Design, modify, and test technical architecture for optimal operations, system functionality,
and cost with a focus on user experience and security.
Create/suggest innovative ways to drive operational efficiencies.
Provide supervision and guidance to development and operational teams.
Continually research current and emerging technologies and propose changes to
improve/evolve current processes.
Assess the business impacts that certain technical choices may have if implemented.
Create systems architecture documentation for new and existing technology systems.
Perform architecture analysis, architecture design/enhancements, and cost projections.
Provide critical insight and guidance for the preparation and maintenance of all
documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
Review suggestions as well as the implementation of system additions and/or enhancements
and make recommendations to management and/or DevOps teams.
Plan and recommend upgrades of operating systems, platforms, and designs systems
enhancements.
Drive scalability, High Availability, and operability of supported systems/infrastructure.
Review and advise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Desired State Configuration (DSC)
and/or Puppet configuration management tools to support provisioning infrastructure.
Serve as the primary liaison participating in meetings and design decisions/impacts to ensure
client needs are met.
Participate in special projects as required.
Skills/Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any
architectural design with a minimum of 7 years of related job experience.
8 additional years of related Information technology experience can be substituted in lieu of
degree requirement.
5+ years of systems architect experience designing, updating, and creating OV-1, OV-2,
SV-1, SV-2, SV-3, and SV-8 diagrams
Active TS/SCI Clearance (CI polygraph will be required if selected)
Desired Skills:
Master's Degree in related field
Demonstrated experience working with indexing/search technologies, data management, and
integrating with APIs.
Familiarity with SAFe/Agile methodologies.
Experience designing architecture with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or OpenShift.
Experience working with and designing architecture to integrate with analytical systems (ie.
Matomo).
AWS Certified Solution Architect certification and/or certified SAFe Agilist
