Multifamily Affordable Housing Sr Superintendent

PRECISION GCC is a best-in-class multifamily construction management company with 33 years' experience of excellence in our niche. We are seeking a Construction Superintendent with previous experience managing the construction process for an occupied tenant improvement rehab. The property is an Affordable Housing Rehabilitation. This individual will be responsible for coordinating all the site construction activities and City Inspections for the rehab and remodel of a 250-unit building. The scope of work includes but is not limited to installation of new Flooring, New Counter Tops, Landscaping, Interior/Exterior Painting and New Fixtures, Bathroom and Kitchen remodels.

Multifamily Sr Superintendent Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years hands-on multi-story occupied multifamily / commercial superintendent experience.
• Outstanding communication skills with a calm professional demeanor
• Our preference is toward an individual who lives within a 30-mile radius of the jobsite in Laughlin.
• Proficient in reading and understanding construction documents (architectural, structural, mechanical, specifications, etc)
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to manage the tenants' relationships.
• Working knowledge with MS Project and electronic scheduling required
• Previous experience working on wood-framed multifamily construction projects.

Multifamily Superintendent Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities and staff.
• Set up and maintain an organized and clean job site, including the construction office/trailer.
• Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original and edited plans and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain construction schedule, identify, and solve problems that may impede schedule and/or costs.
• Order materials, manage lead times to maintain schedule, and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process.
• Comply with the objectives of the OSHA Safety and Loss Control Program.
• Promote and ensure job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately.
• Maintain weekly schedule meeting with vendors and subcontractors to project the upcoming three weeks' expectations.
