Our client, an industry-leading engineering firm, is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building design to join their Raleigh office. This role offers the opportunity to take on a leadership position within a supportive and growth-oriented environment, focusing on designing and managing structural engineering projects for building structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Leadership:
  • Develop structural systems for buildings, including gravity and lateral systems.
  • Lead the preparation of structural engineering construction documents.
  • Oversee and check design drawings and specifications.
• Project Management:
  • Manage design projects from initiation to completion, including estimating work and manpower requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines.
• Client Relationships:
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with new and established clients.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Help drive the firm’s projected growth by taking a leadership role in engineering and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering.
• Experience:
  • 5–10 years of progressively responsible structural design experience.
  • Expertise in concrete, steel, masonry, and wood building structures.
  • Preferred experience in structural inspections and rehabilitation.
• Licensure:
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) required.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute structural engineering projects.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $100,000–$125,000 per year.
