Role Description: This is a full-time role for a Structural Engineer (Mid to Senior Level) at AMG, Inc. The Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing calculations, conducting structural analysis, and designing structures. Additionally, the role will involve collaborating with various engineering disciplines, a Design staff and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed designs. This role is primarily located in Dayton, OH, with the flexibility for some remote work. This role will report to the Structural Department Manager.

Location: Dayton, OH but we do have hybrid opportunities; we will provide relocation assistance

Education: B.S Civil/Structural Engineering

Knowledge:

Building Codes: ASCE 7, AISC & ACD Design Requirements
Cast-in-Place Concrete Design (including Foundations; Structural Steel Framing Design
Structural Analysis modeling software experience (STAAD, RAM or RISA)is a plus; familiarity with production of structural construction drawings

Qualifications: 5-10 years in a structural engineering firm, preferably as lead engineer on recent projects, successful completion of FE exam; PE license preferred but not required; experience on industrial projects is not required but preferred.

Special Skills:

Must know Excel at an advanced level
Working Knowledge of AutoCAD
