Summary: Seeking a Structural Designer with extensive experience in the refinery and/or industrial building industries to prepare 2D drawings and 3D models for a battery manufacturing plant project in Washington state.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years (or 10+ years preferred) of structural design experience.
Proficiency in preparing structural design 2D drawings and 3D models.
Knowledge of engineering principles and ability to interpret engineering information.
Familiarity with structural general arrangement, foundation, and steel structure's location plans, framing plans, sections, and elevations.
Experience in designing structural pipe supports, pipe-racks, platforms, and equipment foundations.
Ability to create building framing plans layouts, sections, and framing elevations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare structural design 2D drawings and 3D models based on engineering information, site data, and customer requirements.
Develop plans, sections, and elevations for structural general arrangement, foundation, and steel structures.
Design structural pipe supports, pipe-racks, platforms, and equipment foundations.
Create layouts, sections, and framing elevations for building framing plans.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Collaborate with the engineering team to address design requirements and resolve any issues.
Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
Assist in the coordination and integration of structural designs with other disciplines.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
Pay: 52-70
