About the Job
The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for the advanced reconciliations and functions of the accounting department. They are responsible for month end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and detailed reporting for the CFO.
Essential Functions
- Provide and complete reporting to upper management & CFO
- Oversee Business Licenses, Foreign LLC, renewals for all Locations
- Process Sales Tax returns & payments including filing the returns
- Create Fixed Assets from CIP
- Produce Income Statement Analytics & research discrepancies
- Prepare Month end Journal Entries
- Responsible for Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Additional reporting & tasks delegated by Accounting Manager, Controller or CFO
- Complete audit requests for year end and quarterly audits

Environment is consistent with that of an office environment, using a computer, telephone, and other office equipment. May encounter interruptions throughout the workday.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer and telephone.
Travel Required
- Some travel is required (up to 10%). Overnight on occasion.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years' experience as Staff Accountant
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
