About the Job
Full-Time Senior Staff Accountant: General Ledger, Payroll and HR
Seeking to fill this position with a committed and passionate individual.
The perfect candidate is proficient in payroll processing,
has the ability and background to manage employee benefits, and
possesses extensive experience with month-end financial reporting
including the skills to complete full balance sheet analysis.
A strong working knowledge of general accounting principles is required.
Required Technical Experience:
- Extensive experience in weekly payroll processing including journal entries
- Manage online onboarding of new employees
- Administer all benefit programs
- Monthly, Quarterly and Annual filings including managing the 5500 Series filings and annual non-discrimination testing
- Month end close, reconciliations, adjusting entries and trend analysis
- Experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliations and budgeting
Other Skills and Attributes
- Possessive of strong organization skills and able to prioritize
- Obsession with covering the details necessary to consistently achieve high levels of accuracy
- Capable of a high degree of self-motivation
- Team player who has a history of supporting fellow team members
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPS and Pivots
- Extensive experience assisting with Year-end Audit
- Computer literate with experience in point of sales software systems and system implementation
