Job Summary
As a member of the MVPD Engineering team, you are instrumental in on-boarding partners into the Entertainment OS family of products that are operated and managed as a service. You will have an opportunity to work with cutting edge video/entertainment technologies while interfacing with top tier-1 providers around the world. In this role you will be working on the number one program at our distribution partners with the highest level of executive visibility. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting use of industry and Company technology standards. You will work closely with clients to analyze their requirements and provide a detailed solutions that meet their needs through our products. You will be actively involved designing solutions, interacting with many teams proofing your solutions and overseeing integration issues during the different program phases. You will collaborate as a technical SME with the different Syndication teams to help with the onboarding of new products and features to our Partners.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Provides and present technical integrations architecture to on-board partners into the Entertainment OS and X1 family of products that are operated and managed as a service.
- Provides technical supports on-boarding partners into the Entertainment OS and X1 family of products that are operated and managed as a service.
- Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; document them and conducting analysis to determine integration needs.
- Interfaces with the enterprise architecture team and other functional areas to ensure that most efficient solution is designed to meet business needs.
- Gathers and understands client needs, finding key areas where technology leverage is possible to improve business processes, proposes architectural approaches and develops technology proofs.
- Ensures the entire solution design is complete and consistent from the start and seeks to remove as much re-work as possible.
- Define partner facing technical documentation to guide partners with the integration of their back-office systems with the Entertainment OS platform.
- Provides technical assistance to Partners and other team members regarding integration-related issues.
- Presents solutions to senior architects.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Oversees the researching, writing and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years in solution architecture and integration
- Excellent communication skills, specifically with external clients
- Curiosity and critical thinking skills
- Technological thinking skills
- Ability to generalize problems
- Experience in debugging
- Programming languages, such as Python, C, and Java are an advantage!
