JourneyTeam is looking for a Sr. Solution Architect specializing in Dynamics365 Business Central Supply Chain to work alongside our ERP practice to oversee and execute successful customer implementations of D365 Business Central. In this role you will gather business requirements, oversee projects, collaborate with technical and functional colleagues, and ultimately, deliver excellent Business Central solutions to our customers.
The Sr. Solution Architect provides focused functional and technical expertise on Supply Chain modules of Business Central during all phases of client engagement. Specifically, focus on D365 Business Central supply chain and manufacturing processes as they relate to implementation and operation of D365 Business Central for client projects and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage assignments that are of a dynamic nature; assigned projects and tasks will require broad industry and technical knowledge of D365 Business Central, specifically Warehousing, Shipping, and Manufacturing functionality.
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical, organizational, communication, prioritization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ensure solutions leverage industry best practices, meet JourneyTEAM standards, and are designed for performance and supportability.
- Expert in answering feature and functional questions, completing in-depth application research for customers, and performing translations (both verbally and in writing) between technical and business groups for system usage, requirements, and gaps.
- Be aware of future trends and directions for D365 BC Supply Chain capabilities.
- Create design, release, and support documentation; examples would be Functional Requirements, Functional Designs, Gap documentation.
- Ability to travel when required, up to 25%.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or 15+ years related field or equivalent consulting experience.
- Experience with Discrete manufacturing, some process experience is valuable.
- Background expertise in ERP Supply Chain including system configuration; 5-10 years Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Legacy NAV) and supply chain experience.
- Expert knowledge of supply chain processes and familiar with supply chain systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications (documentation) with an emphasis toward highly available and scalable global solutions.
- Professional understanding of Microsoft Office tools; working knowledge of data analytical tools and SQL experience is a plus.
- Broad understanding of technical solution components, such as Windows operating systems, networks, application server, data base server, remote access tools, and file delivery solutions within Information technology.

Preferred Skills (not required):
- Understanding data integrations in the context of an ERP.
- Familiarity with third party services for the Supply Chain industry, such as warehouse automation or transportation services.
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing processes.

30 Days:

• Shadow other Functional Consultants to learn implementation process and tasks required throughout our projects.
• Be assigned to a project and support tasks.
6 months:
• Fully involved in project and support efforts and be a contributing member of project teams and long-term client support
• Achieve a 75% customer engagement rate by the beginning of six-month period.
1 Year:
• Continue to achieve a 75% customer engagement rate.
• Certify as a D365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate
• Depending on interest, begin to learn and apply technical solutions to issues that may include writing reports, performing integrations, utilizing Power BI, etc.
Compensation:
$135,000 -$155,000 annual salary, dependent on experience and demonstrated consulting abilities.
