Title: Sr. Software Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA / Hybrid
Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a fault-tolerant, scalable, and distributed enterprise software system.
- Write code that is performant, secure, maintainable, clear, and concise.
- Improve the reliability and efficiency of our core systems.
- Code primarily in Java
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related area.
- 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Java Spring Framework and associated technologies.
- Knowledge of software design patterns and algorithms.
- Experience developing high quality, production ready software in Java.
- Knowledge of UI frameworks such as Angular JS / React / Vue is a plus.
- Experience developing in Python is a plus.
- Strong experience developing on Linux platforms.
- Experience in systems analysis and modular design.
- Proficient in Version Control, specifically Git, GitHub (nice to have).
- Proficient in Modern build automation tools.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- A team player. Ability to collaborate with remote development teams.
- Ability to work independently, understand and modify complex systems.
- Ability to write clean code, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
