They also believe they can improve the engineering experience for their team and other Marriott associates. We are seeking a highly engaged and motivated JavaScript Engineer who is passionate about continuously improving their skills and learning new technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong JavaScript/TypeScript background and possess exceptional communication skills. In this role you will function as a technical expert and lead engineer within the GraphQL team. You will perform research, analysis, design and development on an emerging GraphQL API platform. You will be responsible for interacting with consuming digital teams (web, mobile etc) as well as domain API teams. This role acts as a bridge between the two and requires strong communication skills. To be successful in this role the person will have to be able to shuffle and prioritize multiple initiatives. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
