Qualifications:

Education:

• PhD with industry or academic experience, or Master's with at least 2-3 years of industry experience.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Hands-on experience in the development and technical validation of quantitative LC-MS/MS assays using MRM/PRM acquisition.
• Experience in data analyses covering relative to absolute quantification.
• Expertise in sample processing and prefractionation across cell, tissue, and fluid specimens.
• Experience using automated liquid handling platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to generate robust and reproducible data.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Experience performing unbiased, quantitative discovery analyses with high-resolution LC-MS instrumentation (i.e., DDA, DIA approaches using label-free or TMT quantification).
• Proficiency in data processing tools such as MetaboAnalyst, Skyline, MaxQuant, Proteome Discoverer, EncyclopeDIA, or similar.
• Mass spectrometry-based targeted quantitative lipid analyses or discovery lipidomics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop mass spectrometry-based assays for preclinical drug development, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases.
• Work within multidisciplinary teams to discover novel drug targets and develop biomarkers for clinical translation.
• Develop quantitative mass spectrometry assays to support follow-on validation of discovery data for biomarker development.
