Job Duties: Medline Industries, LP is seeking experienced Sr. SAP Basis Administrator(s) to works with various other IS teams to establish the infrastructure standards and requirements for proper operation of SAP systems and landscapes. This position will report to the Libertyville, IL office and will provide the highest level of technical expertise and consulting on SAP platforms. In addition, this position will be responsible for SAP solution lifecycle management and for ensuring the performance and reliability of SAP and other enterprise systems.
Job responsibilities and duties include:
Maintain system performance, configuration, security measures, and manage transports of various SAP landscape systems like ECC, S4HANA, SCM, SLT, Datamart, Solman, portal and PI.
Determine, recommend, and implement necessary corrective and preventative actions.
Work with technical and development teams to address user requirements, coordinate system-wide updates, perform upgrades and apply patches.
New system install, configure, maintain and existing system upgrades in the Development, Testing, and Production environments.
Troubleshoot complex CPU, memory issues, and other issues on various SAP and HANA systems.
HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio.
Implement monitoring solutions and monitor system performance throughout the landscape to determine necessary adjustments.
Perform Root Cause Analysis to address system issues.
Provide on-call technical support for applications.
Determine options and recommend enhancements involving custom design and optional and third-party products to improve performance.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, and request additional hardware when necessary.
Configure, monitor, and maintain production systems for High Availability.
Maintain existing applications and work with functional and technical teams to resolve issues reported by users.
Determine and prepare SOP documentation to meet compliance and operational needs.
Lead projects as needed.
Mentor and train other admins in best practices.
This position has no direct reports and does not supervise the work of any other employees.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or any related IT or Engineering field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.
Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:
1. SAP Netweaver, ECC Business Suite, S4 Hana, and Enterprise Portal.
2. SCM and PI.
3. Solution Manager, SLT, and HANA Studio.
4. Hana Cockpit, SLES, and Redhat.
5. Windows Server, IXOS, and ONBASE
6. Archiving Server and Data Services
7. Wily, Vertex, and Paymetric.
No travel required. Hybrid work environment with WFH benefit available some days.
Additional Information:

- Salary: $132,500 -$137,500
