CHG is looking for a Salesforce Engineer who has a passion for developing in Salesforce and building scalable and impactful features the right way. By joining this team, you will have the opportunity to develop in the newest Salesforce technologies to deliver features to our internal customers. You will help define the standards and governance policies set for CHG's future of Salesforce usage and development to accommodate the growth of our business. As an Engineer II, you will mentor fellow developers and admins while also having the opportunity to learn from and mentor our Sr. Engineers. You will contribute to the strong team learning culture while working in an agile development methodology to provide technological solutions to business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Digital Product Managers, Architects, Quality Engineers, and Salesforce.com Administrators to drive the success of projects
- Partner with Solution Architects to
- Define standards for designing new solutions
- Define best-practices and see that they are adopted and practiced by the development team(s)
- Effectively implement scalable and testable solutions that you have helped design with Lead Engineers
- Develop new custom and OOTB solutions utilizing native Salesforce functionality. (APEX, SOQL, Visualforce Lightning Web Components, etc.)
- Participate in code reviews with other engineers, and administrators to provide constructive feedback when needed
- Integrate Salesforce applications with 3rd party systems
- Bring an excitement and passion to building world-class solutions in Salesforce
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Salesforce development languages (Apex, SOQL, LWC, Visualforce)
- Proficiency with GIT
- Proficiency with Salesforce CLI to manage metadata and deployment
- Experience with Salesforce Specific DevOps/CI/CD tools and benefits
- Understanding and Experience with helping design Salesforce integration strategies
- Proficient understanding of Salesforce limits and when to use Clicks over Code
- Adaptability in learning new technologies and roles to meet the needs of a team
- Track record of integrity and ethics
- Experience with Test Automation within Salesforce
- Ability to contribute as an Engineer with code or declarative features
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline required or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of Salesforce engineering experience
Preferred:
- Salesforce App Builder Certification
- Salesforce Developer I Certification
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning implementation & adoption
We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $102,100 -- $247,200 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.
CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
