Senior Reliability Engineer
As a Senior Reliability Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a driving force in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our products. Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams, you will identify and resolve reliability issues throughout the product lifecycle. Your guidance extends to analyzing product failure data, implementing corrective actions, and conducting advanced reliability testing to validate and optimize product performance. Efficient budget and resource management will be central to your responsibilities, ensuring the team operates with maximum effectiveness. You will report directly to our Maintenance Manager and you will work out of our location Orange, TX with an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the reliability and performance of our products, ensuring they meet and exceed customer expectations. Your expertise in reliability engineering will drive continuous improvement and elevate our overall reliability practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Guide and manage a team of reliability engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability to ensure the reliability and optimal performance of products.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, providing guidance, mentoring, and facilitating to team members.
• Develop and implement comprehensive reliability engineering strategies, plans, and processes, aligning them with organizational goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability engineering practices and methodologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve reliability issues throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring a holistic approach to product reliability.
• Act as a key liaison between engineering teams to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
• Analyze product failure data to identify root causes and trends, implementing corrective actions to improve product reliability.
• Utilize advanced reliability testing and thoughtful methods to validate and optimize product performance.
• Manage and optimize the reliability engineering budget and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Provide expert technical guidance and facilitate to the reliability engineering team and other stakeholders, contributing to the overall knowledge and skill development.

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 6+ years of experience in reliability engineering in a manufacturing environment.
WE VALUE
• Advanced Engineering degrees like EE (Electrical Engineering), ME (Mechanical Engineering) etc. based on job title.
• Strong knowledge of reliability engineering ethics, tools, and techniques.
• Demonstrated strong guidance and team management skills.
• Identify and mitigate potential reliability risks and issues throughout the product lifecycle, applying advanced techniques such as FMEA, FMECA, and fault tree analysis.
• Work with stakeholders to define and establish reliability goals and metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
