Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Job Summary: As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities will encompass developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies, leading QA initiatives, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Testing Strategies: Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
• Lead QA Team: Provide leadership and guidance to QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and design effective test scenarios
• Perform Manual and Automated Testing: Execute manual tests and develop automated testing frameworks to enhance testing efficiency
• Identify and Manage Defects: Detect, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and verification of fixes.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements throughout the testing process

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or other programming languages. Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium is highly desirable
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level or equivalent.
