Our three Resource Centers (located in Nashville, TN; Boulder, CO; and San Diego, CA) are available for scheduled in-person events or assigned workspaces for those who want to work in the office. Your Role As a HealthStreamer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works with the development team to design, develop and execute test plans for our proprietary software applications.
- Designs, documents and executes manual and automated test cases for ongoing software releases and new software products
- Assists in all phases and types of software testing functionality testing, acceptance testing, regression testing, performance testing, browser compatibility testing, accessibility testing, automated testing, end-to-end and other types as required
- Works closely with development team to reproduce errors, identify issues and resolve problems
- Ensures that all bugs are documented, tracked and updated during the testing cycle using the bug documentation software
- Assists development team in diagnosing user problems and documents issues found
- Relays pertinent defect information to QA/Development/Product team members
- Participates in Team Meetings to discuss team goals, tasks, and tools
- Automation of test cases, to support CI/CD process (as needed)
- Follow sound and modern engineering practices in software quality.
- Performs related duties as required.
Qualifications
What You Will Need to be Successful
Education, Experience and Knowledge Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience as QA engineer
- Experience with designing and writing automated test scenarios.
- Experience with SDLC and STLC.
- Good understanding and Experience with API testing and Web Testing.
- Experience with automation frameworks like selenium (C# preferred).
