We are looking for a Sr. Property Claims Adjuster to join our field claims team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide a consistent, positive, and satisfying claims experience for our clients while using innovative technologies like drones and virtual claim handling software. You’ll guide clients through the claims process with professionalism and expertise, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.
As a Sr. Property Claims Adjuster, you will:
- Investigate claims, determine applicable policy coverage, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims.
- Communicate with insureds, claimants, and other parties to gather information and explain the claims process.
- Conduct physical and/or virtual property inspections to evaluate damages and prepare estimates.
This role involves:
- Full-time fieldwork within the territory of North Dakota and Northwestern Minnesota.
- A combination of work-from-home and field-based inspections using a company vehicle.
- Potential for extended hours and catastrophic duty as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Preferred: Multilingual candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Xactimate, and/or other claims estimating software.
- Knowledge of residential and commercial construction techniques.
- Ability to inspect property in various conditions, including inclement weather, and perform roof inspections requiring the use of ladders (up to 50 pounds).
- A valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
- A Part 107 drone license (must be obtained within 5 months of start date; up to 3 exam attempts).
- Maintain appropriate adjuster’s licensing as required by the states in which we operate.
- Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
