We are a subsidiary of a leading economic development organization, dedicated to fostering growth and revitalization within the tourism industry in the City of Niagara Falls.
BASIC FUNCTION:
As a Development Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting the development and administration of infrastructure projects aimed at advancing our mission. Your responsibilities will involve coordinating projects in collaboration with various stakeholders to drive growth and renewal in the downtown Niagara Falls development district.
WORK PERFORMED:
Lead or support the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects, including public infrastructure enhancements, park improvements, and real estate development initiatives.
Collaborate on special planning efforts, studies, and grant applications to support revitalization initiatives.
Oversee consultant teams providing technical support for projects.
Prepare and assist in the creation of project briefings, communications, and administrative documents.
Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, local businesses, and government officials.
Promote and administer grant programs aimed at supporting development initiatives.
Provide support for activities within the broader Western New York Region as needed.
Other duties and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, urban planning, business administration, construction management, or a related field. Alternatively, an associate degree with 10+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
Experience: Minimum of five years' experience in business, institutional, consulting, project management, or government agency work in planning, redevelopment, economic development, or construction management. Two years of professional experience may be substituted for a master's degree.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Niagara Falls/WNY development context, planning, construction, cost estimation, project development, government relations, public policy, and financial analysis. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
