Overview:Position Overview: Our organization continues to grow and as part of that, we’re planning to hire multiple Sr Project Managers. In this role, you will lead medium to large projects across our organization. You will collaborate with key technology stakeholders and business partners in defining project scope, interpreting requirements and priorities and for the modernization and transformation of these systems. Ideally you’re highly skilled in communicating with technical teams, business stakeholders and C-Suite Executives and have a well-rounded understanding of the various components of an enterprise IT environment.
These positions can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities:- Lead medium to large, complex infrastructure and software engineering related projects
- Direct development teams and drive the execution of the project schedule, scope, and budget throughout the project life-cycle.
- Present both strategic and tactical vision to the team and management for both big-picture planning and day-to-day management of project goal.
- Lead the communication plan facilitating project sponsor meetings, team meetings and status reports; provide project presentations to executive leadership groups and review and provide input on project deliverables.
- Foster high reliability by initiating process improvement opportunities based on past project experiences and lead the business sponsor, stakeholders and project team to identify lessons learned and champions the improvement opportunities.
- Track the financial status of a project throughout the project lifecycle; manages costs and resource allocation among projects’ collect and analyze actual costs, time and scope delivered against plan.
- Drive project management decisions, governance, and long-term vision.
- Align and unify all stakeholders to a shared vision and a common focus including senior leadership.
- Analyze and communicate technology recommendations to business stakeholders
- Define and provide KPI’s and metrics for projects assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of progressive experience leading complex projects for an enterprise organization; PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Ability to drive consensus among various stakeholders, including technology management and third parties.
- Experience producing detailed project plans and resource requirements.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills – must be comfortable speaking and writing interacting with C-level audiences, as well as technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to write business requirements, including user stories, use case development and work-flow documentation.
- Strong business acumen, including the ability to balance resources, evaluate and address risks, and concisely articulate where trade-off decisions are to be made
- Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and to collaborate effectively with technology, application, compliance, and audit personnel at multiple levels.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and cope with conflicting deadlines.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft’s ecosystem, M365 and Clouds Apps.
