Position Summary
The Sr. Project Manager, Project Management Center of Excellence (PMCOE) is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating multiple initiatives and product development projects. This role ensures that goals are achieved safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. This position guarantees delivery of quality products and services that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations, contributing to Oceaneering's strategic growth.
LOCATION
- Hybrid work environment, offering flexibility between virtual and in-office settings as required.
- Domestic and international travel up to 20% of the year.
Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL
- Lead and manage PMCOE initiatives to drive continuous improvement and project management excellence across the organization.
- Oversee and coordinate the portfolio of projects, ensuring adherence to Stage Gate processes, Governance, and KPI reporting.
- Ensure New Product Development (NPD) projects meet cost, schedule, and resource constraints, delivering high-quality results.
- Cultivate and manage strong stakeholder relationships through consistent communication from project kickoff to delivery.
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of key programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Drive growth and development of initiatives through innovation, stakeholder engagement, and community outreach.
- Mentor and manage Initiative Team Leads and Initiative Team Members, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure effective communication across the PMO, including marketing, program updates, and stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee budget management, financial transactions, and timely reporting of program outcomes.
- Coordinate and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and events that support program goals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation, reports, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
ADDITIONAL
- Deliver monthly status reports, financial updates, and variance explanations to management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with departmental policies and project controls.
- Provide technical guidance and problem resolution for project teams, addressing scope changes and technical challenges.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project objectives are met and that scope changes are captured and communicated effectively.
- Other duties as assigned to support overall PMO objectives.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale initiatives across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera and/or Microsoft Project.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn and navigate enterprise management systems (e.g., PeopleSoft), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), SharePoint, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
DESIRED
- Accredited degree in Engineering.
- Formal training in Risk and Project Management.
- PMP or PgMP certification.
- International experience with a valid passport and ability to obtain necessary travel visas.

Additional Information
This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
