Sr Project Manager
Job Description:
- The role of Project Manager is to lead the delivery of Global Grading Phase 2 project.
- The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure the project deliverables are attained on time, in adherence with protocols and within budget.
- The right candidate will possess effective communications skills and the expertise to shape, define and manage a comprehensive project plan.
- They will be courageous and decisive, effectively prioritize and see the action through to delivery.
- Working collaboratively across all Brands and Corporate to achieve success, this role requires strong influencing and relationship skills, professional organizational ability, competent and effective communication styles.
- Provides governance & assurance on project delivery and contributes to their review.
- Uses the appropriate level of governance, assurance and expertise required to deliver effective projects.
- Clearly define, document, and deliver the project objectives.
- Define and plan the business scope of the project and the resources required to develop and apply them effectively.
- Implement and manage agreed governance standards across the project lifecycle.
- Identify and manage dependencies across the project.
- Manage changes (to scope, time and budget) within agreed tolerances and escalate risks.
- Identify, track, manage, escalate, and resolve risks and issues through the maintenance of the RAID register.
- Define, manage, and report the project budget.
- Complete project reports as required via 'Perform', for the PMO
- Identify, track and report on benefits achieved by the project.
- Capture lessons learned from the project by phase for future.
Scope:

- Define a feasible plan that succinctly defines the project's scope.
- Possess the ability to identify goals and objectives and motivate others towards their achievement.
- Take responsibility for developing project plans, tracking progress, and managing risks and issues.
- Monitor progress and react appropriately to ensure the project does not waiver off track.
- Regularly document and report upon the project whilst live
Stakeholder & Communications Management:
- Ensures full and timely management information can be made available.
- Can represent the project at internal project management forums.
- Can understand and map stakeholder needs and develop both management strategies and communications plans.
- Communicates effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Impact:
- Lead by example and champion thevalues and behaviors.
- Demonstrate an ability to manage stakeholder groups balancing diplomacy and tact with assertiveness.
- Provide the bridge between the project team and the stakeholders tasked with the actual execution of the project.
- Compile and present documentation which is compelling and unambiguous.

- Take ownership of the direction, coordination, and implementation of the project plan
- Work collaboratively across a wide range of business functions.
- Display effective communication, strong coordination, and positive collaboration.
- Can understand and map stakeholder needs and develop both management strategies and communications plans.

- Attend HESS training & conduct risk assessments where required

Qualifications:
- Industry recognised Project / Programme Management qualification e.g. APM, PMI, PPM, PMBOK, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma - or equivalent experience
Essential requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in project management within a waterfall environment.
- Fully familiar with industry standard project management techniques and experience of their application in a real project environment.
- Experience of developing project management tools including plans, tracking progress, and managing risks and issues.
- Competency with Microsoft Suite of products including MSP.
