Position Overview:
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a dynamic HVAC and Plumbing division in Waterbury, Connecticut. This role involves working collaboratively with internal administration, external customers, and union trade craftspeople to manage and coordinate all mechanical HVAC and plumbing construction activities. The Senior Project Manager will oversee all aspects of projects, ensuring they meet budget and timeline objectives according to the agreed-upon contract documents and specifications, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, colleagues, supervisors, administrative personnel, field craft workers/supervisors, vendors, and subcontractors based on mutual respect and integrity.
- Organize and manage project documentation comprehensively and accurately, including procurement activities, change order requests, subcontracts, materials, and equipment.
- Oversee and manage project budget for all material and labor costs.
- Understand project specifications, plans, and schedule as well as the resources needed to complete the work within the allotted time frame.
- Manage all aspects of assigned construction project objectives, assess quality of work, track progress, monitor safety of personnel, and attend project-related meetings.
- Actively monitor project performance and estimate cost projections.
- Manage billings to maintain positive cash flow.

- Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage project teams in successful project completion.

- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Minimum Requirements:
- 6-10 years of experience in Mechanical/Plumbing project management.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in Timberline project financial software strongly preferred.
- Experience with Sage 300, Pro Core, and Smartsheets.

Monday through Friday
Benefits:
Competitive salary with a pay range of $80,000 to $120,000 per year.
