California PE preferred.Minimum of 15 years of construction project management experience.Familiar with railroad project management procedures, assembling bid documents, creating modified specs.Familiar with Metrolink procedures and with coordination requirements to deliver rail projects.Able to track and manage project budgets, production and schedules.Able to develop a trusting relationship with the client.Able to lead meetings and prepare presentations.Focus on developing and building teams.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent Microsoft Office Skills.Ability to review P6 project schedules.Experience developing Independent Cost Estimates (ICE) and Scope of Work (SOW).Able to write project descriptions, charters, project study reports, and regular monthly reports.Able to develop and track a Risk Register.Able to review contractor submittals.The salary range for this position is $180,000-$208,000.

Paid Time Off (PTO), Holidays, 401(K) Retirement Savings Plan, Employee Referral Program, Professional Certification Incentive Program, Hill University Learning and Development, Tuition Reimbursement, EAP, Years of Service Awards Program.Support the delivery of railroad related projects involving track and signals, crossings, bridges, culverts, tunnels, buildings, drainage and retaining structures, grading, and other right-of-way facilities.Monitor expenditures during design and prepare reports of cost to date for on-going work, projected cost at completion, and anticipated outlays over life of project.Prepare project budgets and track funds received for projects from grants, deposits, or other sources, and prepare reports of expenses versus budget, and assist accounting department with timely billing on projects.Review submittals from contractors for conformance with the requirements of the contract, and SCRRA standards, respond to requests for information, submittals, correspondence, and other contract related documents.Prepare PM/CM plans to include; change management plan, invoicing procedures, budget and schedule monitoring processes, quality assurance plan, safety oversight, and project specific procedures including communication/coordination plans for the project.Manage and administer construction contracts, preconstruction planning activitiesReview and comment on the Contractor’s construction schedule(s).Ensure compliance and enforcement of FRA requirements.Change order processing, RFI response.Prepare monthly consultant invoices.Conduct construction progress meetings and project team meetings.Coordinate agreements with sub-consultants.Posting Date: 2024-09-26
