Job Details
As a Permanent Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of our commercial construction projects. Your key duties will include:
- Leading the planning and implementation of commercial construction projects from the ground up.
- Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Developing full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
- Effectively communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaising with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis, resolving any issues and conflicts.
- Managing project budget and resource allocation, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conducting project post-mortems and creating a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Ensuring that all projects are executed in compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager in the commercial construction industry.
- Proven experience in managing "Commercial Ground Up" and large commercial construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects in the hospitality, healthcare, industrial, and senior living sectors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management models, and financial management.
- An ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
