This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional management, operational, and financial acumen, capable of leading a team to achieve organizational goals efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance profitability.
- Provide leadership and direction to department heads and project teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Operational Management:
- Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including project management, resource allocation, scheduling, and quality control.
- Implement best practices and procedures to optimize operational performance and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Financial Management:
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to monitor and control costs and maximize profitability.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation to achieve financial targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of construction professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and support to empower employees to achieve their full potential.
Safety and Compliance:
- Champion a safety-first culture by promoting and enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
- Monitor compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to mitigate risks and liabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in the construction industry, with a focus on concrete specialty contracting and multifamily construction projects.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze data, make sound decisions, and drive results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, project management, and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
