Sandis is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Campbell. Our ideal candidate has previous experience in Construction Staking and/or Boundary and Topographical Mapping Survey projects. Cool Stuff you get to do:
- Seek new opportunities by connecting with potential clients in need of survey services and maintain existing client relationships.
- Manages survey activities for the performance and work accomplishment of all projects/contracts.
- Mentor, evaluate, and serve as a resource to the team and peers.
- Coordinates with all project members, attending/running meetings and assuring that all project documentation is maintained including change orders.
- Relationship development with clients to share progress, level of effort expended.
- Executes project set-up including reviewing and complying with contract component checklist.
- Monitor team utilization and implement procedures to make positive changes.
- Maintain awareness of budgets and schedules.
- Present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
What will help you be successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Geomatics or a relatable field
- LSIT required and the ability to obtain a PLS within 12 months of employment.
- 8+ years’ experience in construction surveying experience (field & office)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Liquid Planner.
- Expert understanding of scope and level effort
- Possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow through.
- Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with staff, peers, and clients.
