Purpose of Role
We are looking for a motivated Technology Project Manager that is comfortable and capable of
managing or supporting technology initiatives from strategic projects to functional enhancements to operational maintenance and upgrades. You will work closely with and take direction from Technology PMO program managers and cross-functional teams across Regional Technology, SAP Applications, Global Product, Supply Chain, Planning & Distribution and Finance (GSCP&F), Cyber Security, Legal, Ecommerce, QA, associated vendor partnerships and other business stakeholders to plan, organize, lead and control assigned projects and/or tasks efficiently and effectively. This role will require someone who is flexible and comfortable with dynamic and evolving assignments and rolling up their sleeves at times to be plugged into efforts to ensure the team, project, business outcomes are successful. This includes planning and coordinating integrations, change management, training, resourcing and dependencies for the delivery of successful outcomes for the GSCP&F Tower. We need someone who is very detail-oriented, excellent at team motivation & accountability, and committed to delivering on time, with a high quality bar. It also doesn’t hurt if you are passionate about health and fitness.
Your Impact
+ You will support the Global Product, Supply Chain, Planning and Finance (GSCP&F) Technology teams responsible for supporting the technology needs of these Core Business services
+ You will be aligned to a prioritized waterfall and/or iterative and incremental technology initiatives for the GSCP&F organization and are no stranger to hitting hard deadlines in an evolving environment. You may also need to help guide/facilitate the intake, prioritization and planning of tech initiatives in one or more business functional areas.
+ Plan and direct activities across cross-functional global teams (Operations, OCM, HR, Enterprise Architecture, Digital Product, QA, etc.), and proactively identify and manage dependencies across them.
+ Inspire teamwork without direct reporting authority and maximize the value created by your project team.
+ Conduct Waterfall and/or Agile ceremonies in alignment with our selected ways of working and defined frameworks.
+ Own and manage project plans, RAID (risk, action item, issue, decision) log, Communications plan and Stakeholder RACI, ensuring relevant project repositories are all created and effectively formatted for use.
+ Guide and coach teams in their applicable ways of working, within the constraints of existing UA Technology frameworks.
+ Work closely with Business Project Manager and Vendor Project Managers when applicable to support overall project management, communication, status reporting and stakeholder management.
+ Prepare and facilitate functional stakeholder steering committee/project/initiative meetings.
+ Coordinate keeping all project artifacts up to date in UA business systems like Confluence, JIRA, Service Now, Smartsheet and SharePoint and are also responsible for creating project monitoring tools like Dashboards and Risk logs to avoid project pitfalls.
+ Liaison to teammates outside the primary project or technology team in which you're engaged and help them interact with your project team(s).
+ Lessons Learned – Establish a rigor with the team throughout the project - Identify reasonable increments to perform a retro-style lessons learn focused on how the project way of working is performing and if the project outcomes are looking good. That way we can improve or pivot asap to ensure their success.
+ Resource Plans – All resource plans maintained
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience, OR Typically 9 years of relevant work experience without degree.
+ Demonstrable experience in the following:
o 3+ years of experience working in a matrixed global team environment with a track record of being a part of software projects and delivery teams in a fast-paced environment.
o Ability to communicate well across all levels of the organization
o Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
o Successful planning, management and delivery and/or team servant leadership of large and small technology initiatives.
o Utilizing iterative and incremental ways of working and frameworks to plan and deliver business value
o Successful experience with highly matrixed project teams spanning multiple time zones
o Experience with SAP FMS as a user or project manager highly preferred
o Experience and success with both waterfall and agile project delivery
o Experience with vendor management and collaborating with vendor personnel
o You are extremely, but respectfully, persistent, assertive and proactive in motivating teams and driving project scope, schedule, cost and risk identification and mitigation.
o You know how to drive commitments and hold teammates accountable for protecting the project scope, schedule and cost.
o You don’t have a problem jumping in to lend a hand to get things done.
o You know when to escalate risks before they become issues and/or impacts to delivery timelines and work proactively with teams to remove barriers to project execution.
o You obsess over learning and improving ways of working - throughout the project - Identify reasonable increments to perform a retro-style lessons learn focused on how the project way of working is performing and if the project outcomes are looking good. That way we can improve or pivot asap to ensure their success.
o You over-communicate and radiate information to the stakeholder vertical teams to ensure dependencies are clear and there’s general alignment across the teams.

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
