As the Senior Product Manager for our new Payments Platform, you will have a rare and transformative opportunity to shape the future of our product portfolio and lead the development of a core pillar in our company’s evolution. In this highly visible and strategic role, you’ll build and launch a payments platform that seamlessly integrates with our market-leading billing platform, offering our customers an unmatched, end-to-end revenue management experience. Product Managers are a key conduit between the market and our Engineering team. They are responsible for determining, defining, and clearly articulating what problems our products solve, for whom, and why. Our products serve the office of the CFO, and in this role, we need someone with versatile, hands-on experience in financial processes and reporting. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of general accounting or AR experience with an understanding of billing operations. This background will allow the product manager to talk with our customers, understand their revenue management challenges, and use this knowledge to craft product solutions that deliver market-leading value.
Responsibilities:
- Define, execute, and communicate the product roadmap for our payments platform.
- Monitor the product's performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize its success.
- Engage regularly with customers and prospects to understand their payments challenges and identify unmet customer needs and market opportunities using an outside-in approach.
- Work with internal stakeholders to define payments requirements and communicate them to the development team, using an inside-out approach to achieve business goals and meet customer needs in the billing space.
- Partner with the sales team to help qualify early customer opportunities. Ensure the sales team understands the product and can effectively demo it to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Design teams to develop and prioritize payments features and enhancements for billing-related products.
- Assist in developing and executing launch plans for payments-related products, including sales enablement materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years experience in SaaS product management or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in payments, with a focus on B2B payments, but also some experience with B2C/B2B4C payments.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive product decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to identify new opportunities for the product.
- Provide direction to and mentor more junior product managers
- Ability to work out of our Denver Tech Center office a few days a week.
- Prefer familiarity with enterprise billing or accounting software products.
- Experience as a SaaS software product manager, experience with agile software development, and experience working with engineering teams is a must.

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000 per year, plus eligibility for a 10% annual performance bonus, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Salary information is provided per state regulations in CA, CO, CT, MD, NV, NY, RI, and WA.
