Sr. Product Manager
Location: 2973 Kelly Boulevard, Claremont, NC 28610
Duration: 4-6 month contract
Rate: DOE
The Product Manager function is similar to that of a BA/BSA background, where the person is in charge of the scope/enhancement/requirements any system/application within logistics. This critical Product Manager role will be focused on driving continuous improvement for our manufacturing product line.
Current project is upgrading Microsoft DAX to Microsoft 365. This project started last year, where the initial requirements gathering across all modules is complete. The project was put on hold due to COVID and since, there's been a change in leadership of the stakeholders and so requirements may have changed. Looking for this Product Manager to come in and understand the initial requirements, understand what has changed in terms of requirements & document, and then work with the 3rd party vendor development team to execute the work & test. From there, this person will partner with the business on change management & training.
The right candidate will have a strong technical and analytical foundation, many years of relevant experience with manufacturing, logistics and transportation and the ability to lead a large group with stellar communication.

- Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements, and document business process and requirements/writing user stories.
- Experience driving development teams to execute work.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
Experience with Manufacturing and Logistics operations understanding of end to end manufacturing life cycle and experience with manufacturing systems.
- Current project at WSI is migrating Microsoft Dynamics AX (DAX) to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations. This is focused on manufacturing, including purchasing raw materials, restocking inventory, fulfilling purchase orders, etc.
- Strong preference is Microsoft Dynamics (DAX and/or 365);
- Potentially open to other manufacturing systems (see attached list) the big ones that may be most relevant: Sage, Oracle NetSuite, Epicor, and SAP. Again, preference is Microsoft is the goal.
