Our Client, the leading audio entertainment company in North America is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their team. As a Senior Product Designer you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience across all digital platforms. Your primary focus will be designing and optimizing purchase and post-transaction onboarding experiences. You'll leverage performance metrics like conversion rates and throughput to create experiences that are not only functional and user-friendly but also aligned with our brand's aesthetic. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead initiatives in e-commerce across multiple platforms, web and app, working collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals to innovate and improve the entire customer journey.
What you’ll do:
- Design and refine user experiences, focusing on enhancing customer satisfaction, brand perception and conversion rates on mobile app and web.
- Act as a subject matter expert in e-commerce user experience and user interface design, turning broad conceptual ideas into engaging experiences that drive results.
- Utilize data and user research to inform and justify design decisions, presenting concepts and strategies to team leaders and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate on various projects, displaying flexibility and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and design concepts, knowing when to delve deeper or pivot to alternative strategies.
- Communicate design updates effectively within the design team, ensuring consistency and coherence in our digital ecosystem.
- Work closely with Engineering, Content, Research, Data Analytics, and Product Management teams to deliver exceptional features and user experiences.
- Actively participate in the design team, mentoring others, engaging in constructive feedback, and contributing unique perspectives.
What you’ll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Design, Technology, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in product design in B2C for mobile and native app, across iOS, Android and web, evidenced by a strong portfolio showcasing your problem-solving skills and impact on users and businesses.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in e-commerce or similar complex design environments. Deep understanding of accessibility principles.
- Proficiency in using motion design to enhance user experience.
- Expertise in UX Design tools (Figma preferred).
- A good grasp of development processes and technologies, though coding is not required.
- Comfortable with project management tools like Jira.
- Skilled in presentation software (Google Slides, PowerPoint).
- A user-centric approach to design, combining research, analytics, and empathy.
- Knowledge of current design patterns across various platforms and the judgment to deviate when necessary.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adjust your message for different audiences.
- Independence and teamwork skills, adaptable to various working environments.
- Regular sharing of work progress to leverage team expertise.
- Excellent time management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
