Position Overview:
As a Sr Product Management Specialist at Honeywell for Software & Services (Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS), Connected Alarm Response Eco-System (CARES), and Proactive Risk Identification and Mitigation (PRIM)) portfolios, you will be a visionary and evangelist for Fire software products, with a primary focus on connected buildings, digitization of alarm transmission, and SAAS solutions. You will be responsible for developing data-backed insights to drive not just business reporting and decision making, but also insights to drive product roadmap and feature prioritization working in close partnership with the Product/Portfolio Managers and Engineering, Marketing, Sales, CSM teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of having experience in data analytics, looking at user telemetry, and hands on with analytics tools and data mining languages (Tableau, PowerBI, SQL etc.). This is a global leadership role and pivotal in Honeywell Fire's Software growth trajectory, supporting the delivery of best-in-class software solutions for building owners, facility manager, system installers, central monitoring stations, and fire departments.
You will report directly to our Director of Offering Management, and you'll work out of our Atlanta location on a 3/2 hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact strategic leadership, revenue growth, innovation, product development, customer satisfaction, competitive advantage, resource allocation, risk management, and cost-efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling and customer-centric product strategy and vision based on user telemetry and other data insights. Align product initiatives with broader business goals and Honeywell's behaviors.
+ Customer Experience: Be the voice of the customer and define user personas and customer journey map to identify customer pain points based on their usage patterns.
+ Metrics-Driven Decision Making & Product Roadmap: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product features. Make data-driven decisions and iterate on features to optimize performance and customer satisfaction. Own the roadmap for Fire SW data offerings.
+ Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Gather and Interpret data from multiple sources to assess the health and performance of our products and portfolio. Provide data driven recommendations to improve key performance metrics related to portfolio operations, such as project timelines, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction. Analyze performance data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement
+ Documentation, Reporting and Dashboards: Build and maintain comprehensive documentation of product initiatives, including project plans, meeting notes, and status reports, in addition build reporting dashboards that visualize key data trends and product performance for cross functional teams and senior leadership. Prepare regular updates and reports for stakeholders to communicate progress and identify any issues or risks.
+ Drive Continuous Improvements: Use data to identify gaps and inefficiencies in the product development process, advocating for solutions that drive operational excellence.
+ Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery of product initiatives. Develop contingency plans and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with multiple engineering, sales channels, and partners supporting the life cycle of your products.
+ Stakeholder Partnerships: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and technology vendors, to drive product knowledge, identify new solutions, and ensure integrated roadmaps and joint Go-To-Market
+ (GTM) strategies. Effectively communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives. Navigate a complex organizational structure to gain buy-in and support for product initiatives.
+ Strategic Communication: Communicate program plans effectively to leadership, partnering with Commercial and Sales leaders for customer visits, tradeshows, and events to identify new solution opportunities.
+ Continuous Customer Feedback: Establish mechanisms for gathering continuous customer feedback through specific offerings, surveys, usability studies, and other means. Use customer insights to drive improvements and iterate on product offerings.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ 5+ years in a data-driven role such as Product Analytics, Data Science, Insights Management. Preferably in a Software or Tech organization
+ 3+ years analytics software: Excel, Power BI, Tableau
+ Proficient in data analytics and leveraging data to make informed decisions. Experience in data mining and building metrics dashboard, reviewing with leaders on periodic basis, and the ability to use data insights to guide product strategy and implementation. Proven track record of translating data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes and process and product improvements
+ Excellent understanding of software product lifecycle and agile development process
+ Strong understanding of Master Data Management
