Job Details
In this role, you will work extensively with various semiconductor fabrication wet processes, including FEOL and BEOL cleaning, wet etch, wet strip, and photolithography coat and develop processes. Key responsibilities involve demonstrating processes to prospective customers, preparing detailed demo and technical reports, addressing customer-specific process-related concerns, and contributing to the development of new hardware as it relates to process optimization.
This position offers a hybrid/remote work structure. Domestic travel is required to customer sites to support process transfer (Tier 2), troubleshoot and resolve process issues, conduct qualifications, and perform minor hardware adjustments when needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment, particularly in wet processing (e.g., wet etch, cleaning, surface preparation, resist strip, or photolithography).
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor wet process engineering.
Familiarity with wet process equipment, including basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
Experience with batch spray tools (preferred but not required).
Strong understanding of experimental design and data analysis.
Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility to work in the U.S., including proof of citizenship or legal authorization.
Education:
A BS or BAS degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or physics from an accredited institution, or an AAS degree combined with at least 5 years of semiconductor industry experience.
