About the Role
In this high-impact position, you will be leading a team that will redefine the vehicle-cabin user experience. Your team of personalization and perception AI/ML and software experts will collaborate with global product management and automotive engineering teams on definition, design, and implementation of compelling automotive sound solutions.
What You Will Do
Team leader and lead architect of the Personalization & Perception AI team
Conceptualize, design, and implement AI/ML solutions for automotive products
Coordinate requirements, roadmaps, and delivery schedules with product lines
Collaborate with automotive Cockpit and Augmented Reality subject matter experts, internal and external stakeholders on solution design and technology selection
Act as AI technology ambassador, continuously improving and innovating the AI value-add in our automotive Cockpit product portfolio
Keep pace with AI/ML technology advancements in automotive, adjacent areas, and academia; guide your team and peers; run feasibility studies and PoCs; support business analyses
What You Need
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or relevant technical or scientific field plus 12 years of overall related work experience. Alternatively Masters Degree with 8 years overall related work experience.
Demonstrated experience in developing AI solutions for affective computing or personalized adaptive products and/or Computer Vision and visual perception
Strong understanding of state-of-the-art audio ML (Machine Learning) processing technologies and practical experience with AI/ML tech stacks, tool chains, data collection, synthetic data, simulators, and MLOps workflows (e.g. PyTorch, Kafka, Apache Spark, DataBricks, Python, C++)
What is Nice to Have
Experience in project management and fast-paced agile/scrum development model in a production environment
Experience in embedded model deployment and using AI accelerators (e.g. GPU, NPU, DSP)

Be willing to travel up to 20% of domestic and international travel
Be willing to work in an office or home office in Novi, Michigan.
