This pivotal position will see you take the reins of our preconstruction process, setting the stage for the successful execution of our diverse portfolio of projects. You will be working closely with our team of architects, engineers, and construction professionals, leveraging your industry knowledge and expertise to ensure our projects are planned and executed to perfection. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction planning, construction management, contract negotiation, project planning, construction drawings, and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire preconstruction process, ensuring all plans, drawings, and specifications are accurately prepared and reviewed.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring all agreements are fair, transparent, and beneficial to the project.
- Utilize your deep understanding of construction drawings and blueprints to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for each project, identifying potential challenges and devising strategies to mitigate them.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, promoting open communication and collaboration at all stages of the project.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices, integrating them into our preconstruction process to continuously improve our efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in preconstruction planning, construction management, contract negotiation, project planning, construction drawings, and blueprint reading.
- Proven track record of managing successful preconstruction processes for large-scale construction projects.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven ability to secure beneficial contracts.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex construction drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements, and best practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
